JEWEL is just that, a blessing from her mom who had not had a heifer in 7 calves! Jewel has done great in the show ring dominating that Champion title every time she enters the ring from weanling through cow/calf pair. She is walking in her mothers hoof prints for certain there. She has also become a fantastic, solid little milk cow.

LILY was very old Pacific North West breeding. The Von Der Vogelweide herd were solid milking cows into their 20's. Lily was purchased in 1999 as a weanling by a leading show and Dexter breeder in Washington. She was successfully shown as a weanling, yearling and a few years as a cow/calf pair. In her day, she was very hard to beat. We scooped her up in 2008 and added her to our brood string. We were never sorry. Her steers were very profitable as beef due to their tremendous growth and her first heifer, Jewel, back in to the show ring has taken that Champion title every show. We said goodbye to Lily February of 2016 at age 18. We are thrilled to have a replacement heifer out of her although she is dearly missed.
